Applies to Themes

Now that your theme is installed and demo content has been imported, it’s time to explore how to customize your site.
This guide provides a high-level walkthrough of the WordPress Customizer and where to edit key design elements, so it doesn’t cover everything. I strongly encourage you to play around with the Customizer to familiarize yourself with all the settings and features!

Opening the WordPress Customizer

You can access the Customizer in two ways:

Option 1 — From the Admin Toolbar

  1. While viewing your site, locate the top admin bar.
  2. Click Customize.

Option 2 — From the Admin Dashboard

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize.

Theme Panel

On some themes, you may notice a section at the top of the Customizer labeled [Theme Name] Theme. Clicking this section provides quick access to resources like the theme documentation and how to contact me.
There may also be some theme-specific settings you can adjust here, too. (If there are, you’ll be able to find documentation for it on this site in your theme’s category!)
