Set Coming Soon as Front Page

  1. Customize & edit your Coming Soon page template as desired & save.
  2. Open the WordPress Customizer (Appearance > Customize).
  3. Go to Homepage Settings.
  4. Ensure Your homepage displays is set to A static page.
  5. In the Homepage dropdown, select the name of your Coming Soon page. (You can keep the Posts page pointed to your blog).
  6. Click Publish!

Page-Specific Header & Footer Toggle

The Coming Soon page template is created with the header & footer hidden so guests can’t navigate through your site while you’re working on it. This is done through the Page Editor, and you can do this on any page!

  1. Open the Page Editor.
  2. Open the Page Settings sidebar.
  3. Scroll down to the toggles Disable Header and Disable Footer. Toggle either or both that are needed. To turn them back on, do the opposite.
  4. Publish & save!
